My Journey In Tattooing, Art and Personal Projects

My personal art journey began very young as I'm sure most designers did. Drawing and painting were my favorite things to do as a child and having the support to pursue a career in arts led me to a graphic design SHSM at Merivale High School. After completing high school I began the graphic design program at Algonquin College. I had a lot of conflict about finishing the program but ultimately decided to finish my time there with a reduced course load and a promise to work more on my personal art and projects. This led to me pursuing tattoo artistry as a lot of skills from graphic design transfer over, especially the client relations. During this time I built up a portfolio of drawings and paintings and shopped it around to studios around Ottawa. I landed at Sorry Mum Tattoos in Orleans, a great studio, apprenticing under Oliver. I've learned a lot from my time there so far and continue to work on my drawings and tattooing skills alike. Above was a selection of my favorite tattoos I've completed on people as well as a new drawing.
